Des Moines, IA – Perry Johnson, Republican presidential candidate and third place finisher in CPAC’s straw poll, set up a campaign event across from the Trump rally on Saturday in Des Moines. Johnson spoke with caucus goers and handed out free copies of his book, Two Cents to Save America, along with ‘Fire Biden’ merchandise. Johnson has branded himself ‘Trump without the baggage,’ and his Two-Cents economic policy has proven popular among caucus goers and voters along the campaign trail.

“I didn’t let the rain stop me from sharing my Two-Cents Plan with Iowa caucus goers. The rain gave way to a beautiful afternoon, and I thought it was truly a shame Trump canceled his event after conservatives traveled from near and far. Turnout was likely not what he anticipated, but I was more than happy to chat with rally attendees who welcomed my Two-Cents Plan to Save America and rescue our nation from Joe Biden’s debt and inflation crisis. We all want the same thing – to fire Joe Biden – and I was thrilled to chat with people from across Iowa and the Midwest about how to get our economy back on track.”
