Troy, MI – Perry Johnson, Republican presidential candidate and third place finisher in CPAC’s straw poll, has announced his first town hall event in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, May 13. The town hall will kick off Johnson’s ‘Fire Biden’ Iowa tour from May 15 – 23.

“There is nothing I love more than being on the campaign trail, sharing my Two-Cents Plan to Save America with voters and caucus-goers. Having just returned from two bus tours in New Hampshire, I am thrilled to head back to Iowa for another bus tour in the great Hawkeye State.

“Throughout my visits, I’ve learned Iowans are just as fed up with Joe Biden’s debt and inflation crisis as I am. The only way out of this economic mess is to implement common-sense policies that will rid the government of excess budget bloat. My Two-Cents Plan will do exactly that. I look forward to meeting caucus-goers on Saturday and earning their support on the campaign trail.”

Johnson returned from his New Hampshire bus tour on Thursday, a successful trip that included addressing the New Hampshire Senate and meetings with local GOP officials and organizations.
