Johnson’s announcement comes on the heels of reaching 1%+ in three national polls as momentum builds for his Two-Cents Plan

Amherst, NH – Perry Johnson, Republican presidential candidate and second place finisher in TPUSA’s Action Summit straw poll, has announced he has hit the RNC’s donor threshold required for making the debate stage. Speaking at the Amherst Republican Committee’s monthly meeting, Johnson announced his campaign reached 40,000 donors as of Saturday. Already having achieved 200 donors across 20 states, this new milestone checks off both donor requirements as set by the RNC.

Johnson said, “I know when I get on the debate stage that my Two-Cents Plan will resonate with every American family who is struggling to stay afloat under Joe Biden’s debt and inflation crisis.”

“Politicians on both sides of the aisle are rapidly spending away our children’s futures and it’s time we bring some fiscal common sense back to DC with my plan.

“I am grateful to every single donor who has helped me satisfy RNC debate stage requirements by donating their hard-earned money to my campaign.

“The very future of our nation is at stake, and we must not only protect it, but actively work to bring back prosperity for future generations,” added Johnson.

Since March, Johnson has built a retail politics-style campaign from the ground up attending and hosting over 100 events in early states.

He has done so all while bringing on an experienced national campaign team, and has built out operations in Iowa and New Hampshire.

“It’s time for pollsters to include our strong national campaign in their polling,” said Paul Cordes, campaign manager for Perry Johnson’s presidential campaign. “When he is included, he registers. It speaks to the unique message Perry brings to the table. He is a serious candidate with a serious infrastructure and is meeting the requirements to make the debate stage. Serious pollsters should be including Perry Johnson in their surveys.”

Perry Johnson earned 1%+ in three national polls last week, including one debate stage qualifying poll, proving his political outsider status and Two-Cents Plan continue to resonate with and be taken seriously by voters when pollsters choose to include him in their surveys.

The qualifying poll came the same week Perry Johnson reached critical milestones in the campaign on the way to the debate stage, including 200 donors in at least 20 states and surpassing 30,000 unique donors.
