Troy, MI – Perry Johnson, Republican presidential candidate and third place finisher in CPAC’s straw poll, appeared on Newsmax Friday evening with host Rob Schmitt. Johnson slammed the left-wing political persecution of President Trump, noting he would announce plans to eliminate the FBI and overhaul the DOJ on Saturday, June 10, during a campaign stop in Waukee, IA.

On Newsmax, Johnson said, “I say we have to revamp the Department of Justice and get rid of the FBI.”

“I have a proposal for changing everything, and I’m going to announce it [Saturday] when I’m in Iowa for a joint event with the Dallas County GOP.”

Johnson will host a joint event in Iowa on Saturday with the Dallas County GOP, where more than 100 guests and caucus-goers are expected to attend.

Johnson will officially roll out his plan to eliminate the FBI and overhaul the DOJ during the event, in addition to talking with attendees about his Two-Cents Plan to rescue America from Joe Biden’s debt and inflation crisis.

Johnson will make his announcement at the bonfire and barbecue event, which will take place at Timberline Campgrounds, located at 31635 Ashworth Road in Waukee, IA, from 6pm to 8pm on June 10.
